The story revolves around a 16-year old boy named Ranma Saotome who was trained from early childhood in martial arts. As a result of an accident during a training journey, he is cursed to become a girl when splashed with cold water, while hot water changes him back into a boy.
9 1⁄2 Weeks is a 1986 American erotic romantic drama film based on the 1978 memoir of the same name by Austrian-American author Ingeborg Day. It stars Kim Basinger as Elizabeth McGraw and Mickey Rourke as John Gray. McGraw is a New York City art gallery employee who has a brief yet intense affair with a mysterious Wall Street broker. In 1997, a sequel called Another 9 1⁄2 Weeks was released via direct-to-video. It stars Rourke and Angie Everhart and was directed by Anne Goursaud. In 1998, a second straight-to-video film was released, this one a prequel called The First 9 1⁄2 Weeks that starred Paul Mercurio and Clara Bellar.

Largo Winch (released in the U.S. as The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch) is a 2008 French film based on the Belgian comic book Largo Winch. It was released in France and Belgium on 17 December 2008, and in the United States in November 2011, where it was nominated for Best International Film at the 2012 Saturn Awards. A sequel was released in Belgium 16 February 2011 as Largo Winch II (The Burma Conspiracy).

Grown Ups is a 2010 American buddy comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan, written by Adam Sandler, and starring Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. Sandler and Fred Wolf wrote the script. The film was produced by Sandler's production company Happy Madison Productions and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Sandler, Rock, Schneider, and Spade all joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in the 1990–1991 season; supporting cast including Colin Quinn, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows and Norm Macdonald have also been SNL cast members. A sequel, Grown Ups 2, was released on July 12, 2013.
